Norway is building the Rogfast, set to become the world’s longest and deepest underwater road tunnel. The project spans 26.7 kilometers (about 16.6 miles) beneath the country’s dramatic fjords and will reach depths of around 390 meters (about 1,280 feet) below sea level.
