TRAVEL Virtual tours

Being stuck at home doesn't mean you can't visit amazing places. Well, not physically, of course, but thanks to the Internet we can now take virtual tours of some of the most iconic landmarks on the planet. If you've ever wondered how Paris looks like from the top of the Eiffel Tower, or if you've been itching to explore the Great Barrier Reef for years, then now is the perfect time to visit these places virtually.

The Louvre is one such landmark embracing virtual tourism. The notoriously packed French museum has just made its entire art collection available to view online, and for free! That's 482,000 artworks, across what is currently on display, on loan, and even in storage, Hypebeast reports. There is also an interactive map to guide visitors through the Louvre room by room, available in French, English, Spanish and Chinese.

In this gallery, you'll find links to the most amazing virtual tours of world-famous landmarks online. Click through and enjoy!
