Two bodies were discovered in the wheel well of a JetBlue plane that traveled from New York City to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. The incident has raised renewed concerns about airline security.

The grim discovery was made on the night of January 6 during a routine maintenance inspection after the flight landed. JetBlue stated that the identities of the individuals remain unknown, and an investigation is underway to determine how they managed to gain access to the aircraft.

The discovery follows an incident two weeks ago when a body was found in the wheel bay of a United Airlines flight traveling from Chicago to Maui.
