Unveiled in 2018 at Vietnam’s Bà Nà Hills resort in the Hòa Vang district of Da Nang, the Golden Bridge, also known as the
Giant Hand Bridge, quickly became a global sensation, and not just for its sweeping views of the surrounding mountains. Since its debut, the bridge has even been hailed as a modern wonder.
Supported by two enormous, weathered hands (which are actually made of fiberglass and wire mesh), the bridge was designed to resemble “the hands of gods pulling a strip of gold from the land.” The effect is part illusion, part architectural fantasy, and it’s captured the imagination of tourists, influencers, and travel writers alike.
