Death row inmates have the right to one last meal of their choosing before they are executed. You might expect requests for childhood favorites or luxurious fare, but often, the meals they ask for are far from traditional.

▲However, when the heaping amount of food was placed in front of him, he refused to eat any of it. Texas law has since changed so that inmates can no longer order so much food.

He requested a steak, lobster tail, apple pie with vanilla ice cream, and a 7-Up. However the strange part was the 48-hour self-imposed fast leading up to the execution day, when he requested to watch 'The Lord Of The Rings' trilogy.

The story goes that Delbert Teague Junior initially refused his last meal, and after being forced to choose something, he settled on a cheeseburger. However, he only ate it after his mom came in and reportedly told him, “Now you listen Junior, if you don’t eat your dinner you’re going straight to bed, no execution for you!”

▲This inmate's 29,000 calorie order included a Pizza Hut Supreme Deep Dish pizza with extra mushrooms, extra onions, extra jalapeño peppers, and extra pepperoni, a second pizza with three different cheeses, olives, bell peppers, tomatoes, garlic, and Italian sausage, 10 eight-ounce packs of Parmesan cheese, 10 cups of ranch dressing, eight ounces of jalapeño nacho cheese, four ounces of jalapeños, two twenty-ounce Cherry Cokes, two large strawberry milkshakes, two pints of strawberry ice cream, and one family-sized bag of Doritos.
