Some places around the world are haunted by the wreckage of planes which crashed or were forced to make emergency landings there. The shells of these former planes all have a different reason for ending up where they did, but while some of these are known, others still remain a mystery. ▲The plane is a boeing 737 with capacity for 215 passengers. According to material published on Atlas Obscura it's not known for certain how the plane got here.

▲Apparently there is no evidence of a landing strip close to where the plane was found. The plane has been attracting tourists who are curious to know more about the mysterious aircraft.

▲According to the article, the big question was to try and discover why a Russian aircraft had been abandoned on a runway in the United Arab Emirates.

An 2 was one of most popular agro and skydiving airplane years ago in Bulgaria and east Soviet block. In past years hundreds of An 2 planes stay abandoned at fields, villages and other palces.
