The late Angus Cloud, who went from obscurity to superstardom when he was picked off the street to appear in the hit series 'Euphoria,' shared the story behind the sizeable scar on his head in 2022. Some may have thought the scar was added by the makeup department to compliment his drug-dealing character in the show, but it's all too real. Cloud told Variety that he got it in 2013 when he was walking somewhere at night and fell into a large construction pit, cracking his skull in the process.
"I woke up 12 hours later at the bottom. I was trapped." Just a teenager at the time, Cloud says he entered "survival mode" to get himself out of the pit, despite having a broken skull, broken fingers, and internal bleeding. He knew the chances of anyone finding him down there were slim. Somehow, he managed to climb out of the pit after a long time, and took a bus home to his mom's house. Cloud told his mom he wanted to go to bed, but she recognized that he was seriously injured and didn't let him go to sleep. "I would have died," he reflected. "She gave me some water, and I started throwing up hella mouthfuls of crimson red blood." They went to the hospital where Cloud had life-saving surgery. "That’s what the scar’s from. They cut my head open, they put some screws and a plate over where I broke my skull." Cloud sadly passed away on July 31, 2023.
