A fundraiser was launched on January 4 to cover expenses for Mickey Rourke’s rent after he received an eviction notice in December 2025. The actor allegedly owes US$59,100 in rent for his Los Angeles home.
The fundraiser was launched by Liya-Joelle Jones, Rourke’s friend and part of his entourage, with the actor's full approval. At the time of writing, it has already raised more than $50,000 out of a $100,000 target. Jones wrote on the crowdfunding page that Mickey is “dealing with a challenging financial moment that has put his housing at risk.”
The actor moved into the Los Angeles house in March 2025 and agreed to a lease of $5,200 a month, which was later raised to $7,000.
