CELEBRITY Bad behavior

Flying is stressful for everyone. Celebrities are no exception! Even with millions in the bank, traveling by air can bring out the worst in people.

Actor Stephen Amell is opening up about his June incident when he was removed from a Delta flight after, as he said at the time, he had gotten into an argument with his wife onboard. A flight attendant had asked the 'Arrow' star to lower his voice, and then he was removed, with Delta reporting that "an unruly customer was deplaned from the aircraft prior to departure in Austin." Now, on an episode of Michael Rosenbaum's podcast 'Inside of You,' Amell admits that he's "deeply ashamed" about his actions. "What happened was—and it's very, very simple—I had too many drinks, and I had too many drinks in a public place. And I got on a plane," he said.

He explained that he was upset about something that didn't have to do with his wife, but added, "I picked a fight because I wanted to be loud and upset." He said that it wasn't really an argument, as his June tweet had indicated, because in reality his wife only said one thing the whole time, which was warning him to lower his voice. "It's really, really shameful," he added. "And it makes you kind of look in the mirror. And I just realized a couple of things: if people are going to recognize you, don't necessarily drink in a public place, but more importantly, don't drink in a public place if you can't handle your s—t." Perhaps learning to talk about your feelings in a healthy manner is also an important takeaway...
