Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach first entered Hollywood’s radar with the ever-quirky indie comedy ‘Frances Ha,’ but their well-hidden love story stretches far beyond the confines of that now-cult film. The pair are two of the hottest directors right now, with Gerwig's ‘Lady Bird’ in 2017 and ‘Little Women’ in 2019, as well as Baumbach’s 2019 ‘Marriage Story’ starring Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver.
And it's with these 2019 films that the couple see themselves competing against each other in the Best Picture category at this year's Academy Awards.
