Herman Cain and other famous figures who died from coronavirus
The former presidential candidate had joked about the use of masks
With the global death toll constantly rising, not even famous people are safe from COVID-19. Former presidential candidate Herman Cain is the latest. Cain passed away on July 30, aged 74, after being hospitalized with COVID-19 on June 29.
Besides recently mocking the use of masks, Cain controversially attended President Donald Trump's rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 20, where Cain shared a photo of himself and other attendees, none of whom were wearing masks, as they were not mandatory. It has not been confirmed, however, that this is where Cain contracted the coronavirus.
