Lewis Hamilton has announced the death of his dog, Roscoe, after a recent battle with pneumonia. The seven-time Formula 1 champion revealed on September 29 that Roscoe had been placed on life support in hospital and died in his arms the previous evening.
Hamilton, 39, said the bulldog “fought with every bit of strength he had” during his four days in intensive care. The loss comes five years after another of his dogs, Coco, passed away.
“Bringing Roscoe into my life was the best decision I ever made, and I will forever cherish the memories we created together,” Hamilton wrote in an emotional Instagram post.
