In court documents filed on October 6, Jolie described Pitt’s 2021 demand that she sign a non-disclosure agreement as “extremely painful,” claiming it was meant to silence her during negotiations to sell her stake in the property. Jolie also requested over US$33,000 in legal fees, accusing Pitt of attempting to “control” her by seeking access to confidential communications with her legal team.
Pitt’s representatives have not commented on the latest filing. The couple, who married in 2014 and share six children, finalized their divorce in December 2024, eight years after their split in 2016.
