Hollywood director Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, were found dead in their Los Angeles home on December 14, as authorities continue to investigate what police have described as an apparent homicide.
According to People, the couple’s 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, is being questioned by police in connection with the deaths. Law enforcement officials have not confirmed any suspects, and no arrests have been made. The Los Angeles Police Department has said the investigation remains in its early stages.
Emergency responders were called to the Brentwood residence around 3:30 pm local time, where a 78-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman were pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not released a cause of death, and officials say the case will be handled by the Los Angeles County coroner.
