Jerry Adler, a longtime Broadway veteran who transitioned into a successful acting career late in life, has died at 96. His family confirmed his death on August 23.
Adler managed, produced, and directed more than 50 Broadway shows, including the original 'My Fair Lady,' before turning to acting in his sixties. He went on to earn recognition on television, most notably as Tony Soprano’s advisor Hesh Rabkin on 'The Sopranos' and as Howard Lyman on 'The Good Wife.' Over his decades-long career, he worked alongside stars such as Marlene Dietrich, Julie Andrews, and Richard Burton.
