'Days of Our Lives' veteran actress Suzanne Rogers, 82, has revealed she was diagnosed with stage 2 colorectal cancer earlier this year after sensing something was “off.” The soap star underwent six weeks of daily radiation and chemotherapy, completed treatment in July, and is now focused on recovery and returning to work.
Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in the US. Furthermore, it's estimated that over 150,000 people are diagnosed annually. Of these, over 52,000 will succumb to the disease.
