According to a notice issued by the Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) on December 12, around 62,550 pounds (28,372 kg) of cooked, breaded chicken have been recalled by Georgia-based food production company Suzanna’s Kitchen.

The recall was issued due to mislabeling after it was discovered that the chicken products contained soy, a common allergen and which was not listed on the product labels.

The affected chicken was distributed to restaurants across the country, and so shoppers are not affected. However, diners are advised to exercise caution when eating out. No illnesses linked to the recall have been reported so far.
