North Korea is in the very last stage of developing an intercontinental missile capable of carrying nuclear weapons that could reach the US, this according to a declaration by South Korean President Lee Jae Myung during a talk at the New York Stock Exchange on September 25.
Indeed, in 2024, North Korea developed the intercontinental ballistic missile Hwasong-19, which flew into space but was unable to reenter the atmosphere. According to South Korea’s president, this last step is now very close to happening.
North Korea is not the only nation that has nuclear weapons, although its unpredictable leadership often scares the world.
