The Batman franchise has numerous unique, exciting, and bizarre villains. Many have been portrayed on-screen by multiple actors, taking on completely different styles depending on the director. For example, Danny DeVito's performance as Penguin in Tim Burton's 'Batman Returns' (1992) is very different to Colin Farrell's Penguin in the 2022 reboot!
Joaquin Phoenix's take on the Joker is also vastly different from that of Heath Ledger's or Jared Leto's, but we're soon going to be treated to more of the Oscar-winning actor's take on the villain. Lady Gaga stars alongside Phoenix as Harley Quinn, as the pair form a dangerous and intense romance.
