On October 30, Arcade Fire’s Win Butler and Régine Chassagne made an announcement on the band’s Instagram page that they are separating after 22 years of marriage.
The statement also hinted at the band's future. "Their work in Haiti with KANPE continues and their bond as creative soulmates will endure, as will Arcade Fire," it read.
As the statement suggests, the separation appears amicable, and the former couple will continue to stay in touch as they co-parent their son, born in 2013.
