On December 22, music legend Barry Manilow shared in an Instagram post that he has been diagnosed with lung cancer and will be postponing his concerts scheduled for January.
According to Manilow, doctors found "a cancerous spot" on his left lung, which will be surgically removed.
The singer said it was "pure luck" that the cancer was detected early, adding that his doctors do not believe it has spread. However, he is undergoing additional tests to confirm the diagnosis.
