'Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word' by Elton John -

This Elton John song from 1976 is a true classic and indeed a beautiful song to say sorry to someone with, even though sometimes it's hard to admit we've done wrong. The lyrics include emotional lines such as "What do I do to make you love me? / What have I got to do to be heard? /What do I do when lightning strikes me?" and "It's sad, so sad / It's a sad, sad situation."
