What is an aura? -

An aura can be described as a spiritual energy field surrounding a being. While it is usually associated with people, it's believed that all living beings have auras.

So, they’re like vibes? -

Sort of, yes. Auras are composed of vibrational frequencies, so it is possible that a person’s vibe is directly linked to the person’s aura.

What does an aura look like? -

To begin with, auras are (mostly) not visible to the naked eye. For many years, people have attempted to see and record people’s auras. There are currently different methods to do so, including photography.

Imagine a layered electro-magnetic field. An onion of energy around a person. These layers are also known as bodies or planes.

The seven layers of the aura -

Now, let’s look at the seven layers of the aura. Imagine these as your physical body being the center.

Physical (or etheric) aura plane -

This is the first layer of your aura, and the one closest to your skin. It represents your physical health.

Emotional aura plane -

As the name indicates, this is the plane that represents your emotions. It can have different colors, depending on your mood and feelings, but we’ll get into colors later.

Mental aura plane -

The third layer of your aura is related to your thoughts, logic, and reasoning.

Astral body aura plane -

Now we’re getting into your spiritual health, which includes your capacity for love.

Etheric aura plane -

Those with psychic abilities might have a clearer plane. This makes them better at connecting with other people.

Celestial aura plane -

This plane has to do with dreams and intuition. Creative types usually have a strong presence of this aura plane.

Causal aura plane -

The last plane of your aura is influenced by the other planes. It radiates a reflection of the harmony between the other six planes.

Aura colors -

The colors of our auras are connected to our seven chakras: the root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye, and crown. These are all points of energy we have in our bodies.

Aura colors -

This means that some of the colors (or absence of colors) in your aura will be a reflection of some of your chakras. Now, let’s look at what each color means.

Red -

Your root chakra, which is located on the base of your spine, is your foundation. It vibrates in the red color, which means that if you have red in your aura, you have a solid base from which you can manifest your career, home, power, and sexual energy.

Orange -

Your sacral chakra (located in your lower abdomen) radiates in orange and it has a strong element of creative and sexual energy,  This color in your area means that you are independent and a realist.

Yellow -

This is the color of your solar plexus chakra (located just above your belly button). A yellow aura shows how you relate to the world and means that you are a curious and optimistic person.

Green and pink -

These are the colors of your heart chakra. This one is all about love, so if you have an aura that radiates either color it means that you are kind, compassionate, and loving.

Blue -

Your throat chakra, which represents communication and expression, has the color blue. An aura of the same color means that you are empathetic and score high in intuition.

Purple and violet -

This one relates to your third-eye chakra (located on your forehead). A purple or violet aura has a strong correlation with your psychic ability and it means that you are quite intuitive.

White -

White is the color of your crown chakra (located above your head). This is the chakra that connects you to the universe. White auras are in fact quite rare and indicate a high level of spirituality.

Black -

A dark or black aura usually indicates more of a block of your chakras. You may be overwhelmed by negative thoughts and emotions, so energy is not flowing as it should.

Can my aura change? -

Yes! Every person radiates different energies, depending on their emotional states and life in general at the time. A person’s aura changes accordingly.

Can I eliminate my aura? -

Not quite. An aura is made of energy and as a living being you emanate energy. It’s not like you have an on/off button that you can switch as you please.

How do I cleanse my aura? -

If your aura is a bit dim, don’t worry about it—
it will change as circumstances improve. Though there are some things you can do to speed up the process.

Positive affirmations -

Positive words can indeed have a positive impact in one’s life. More positive energy will balance things out quicker.

There are numerous benefits to meditation, including lighting up your aura. Get started and your aura will surely become more vibrant.

This is a powerful technique used by many people. Imagine yourself breathing in positive energy, and breathing out negative energy.
