Turkey's aviation authority will fine airline passengers who stand, unbuckle seatbelts, or open overhead bins before the seatbelt sign is off. The penalty, up to US$70, aims to boost safety and reduce disorder during taxiing. Airlines are required to inform travelers of the new rules in their announcements to help enforce the regulation.
