A Delta flight from Salt Lake City to Amsterdam was forced to make an emergency landing in Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport due to severe turbulence on July 30. The incident led to 25 people being hospitalized.
The Airbus A330-900 was carrying 275 passengers and 13 crew members, and landed safely shortly before 8 pm local time. The passengers were hospitalized for “evaluation and care,” according to an airline dispatch.
