From the mid-2000s onwards, we've seen a rapidly growing number of gay and lesbian couples on TV. There's still a long way to go, but now there are enough couples (past and present) around that fans can afford to be picky and choose their favorites.
In this list, we look at gay and lesbian couples that ended up together, may end up together, broke up, and everything in between. Whatever the case, they all have strong supporters and a special place in many fans' hearts.
