Post Malone finished his show at Seattle's Climate Pledge Arena on November 5 2022 with an unusual encore: an unofficial wedding ceremony for two women fans of his. A TikTok video posted by the couple's friend Heidi Lavon shows Malone standing in the nearly empty arena with the two women and casually smoking while learning their names—Jana and Randee—and asking, "Do you have anything you'd like to say to each other, like vow-esque?"

The rapper instructed the women to say their vows one by one, and then he asked both if they'll take each other "to be your lawfully wedded partner," to which they both responded, "I do."

"You may kiss your partner right now," he told the couple, which drew applause from people off-camera as they embraced for a kiss. "In the eyes of space, I declare these two lawfully wedded," Malone concluded the ceremony.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson -

While hearts melted at the reveal that Jesse Tyler Ferguson officiated Sarah Hyland's wedding to Wells Adams, the 'Modern Family' actor revealed that the job wasn't actually supposed to be his.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Ferguson shared that he was asked to step in after his former co-star couldn’t make it. “I don’t know if people know this, but Ty Burrell was meant to do it, and there was a family emergency,” he told the outlet, adding that everyone from the cast was invited but not all could make it.

"I was like, ‘Well, no pressure, this is my first time, and then it’s going to be a wedding, and it’s going to be in Vogue magazine, and there’s also going to be paparazzi shots of me from a helicopter, officiating, no pressure,’” Ferguson joked. "I knew that Sarah and Wells wanted it to be a funny, lighthearted ceremony,” he added. “They’re not serious people, but you also don’t want to lean too heavily into the jokes because it’s a big day.”

Fortunately Burrell helped him out with some suggestions. "I was honored to do it,” Ferguson said. “Very happy to understudy Ty Burrell.”

You never know what Cardi B is about to say next, but certainly no one expected her to say, "By the power vested in me by the State of California and my online course I now pronounce you wife and wife." That's  exactly what she did when she served as the officiant of a lesbian wedding on her Facebook Messenger series 'Cardi Tries.' The episode was filmed in July, but it aired on the LGBTQ+ awareness holiday, National Coming Out Day, which is celebrated on October 11. Cardi was also joined by actress Raven Symonè, who served as brides Brandi Taylor and Shannon Herbert's ring bearer. “Being a part of a same-sex marriage is important so that people see that there’s differences [from heterosexual unions], obviously, but there are also similarities,” Symonè explained.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton tied the knot on July 3, on Shelton's ranch. TODAY's Carson Daly served as the intimate wedding's officiant, which was likely an easy choice since they've all been longtime friends and Daly was the host of 'The Voice' in 2015, the series on which the singers first met. Speaking on the 'Today' show on July 6, Daly shared some details about the wedding, noting that the two were able to blend their distinct styles into one beautiful "blend of country and glamour." He also revealed that he convinced the singers, "two of the best songwriters in the world," to write their own vows. After Stefani said hers, there apparently wasn't a dry eye in the room. But then Shelton pulled out a guitar when it was his turn, and he surprised everyone with a new, original song he’d written for his new bride. "It was a bunch of ‘pinch-me’ moments," Daly said.
