The show was stopped and a team of medics appeared to help Malone before escorting him offstage. The musician promised to return, and he did soon after. “St. Louis, I’m so f—king sorry I ruined the show tonight, ladies and gentleman,” he told fans. “I promise next time I come around, I won’t f—king wreck y’all’s night, I’m sorry for that." He thanked them for their patience and added, "There was a big-a— hole in the middle of the stage that I busted my a— on." He thanked them again for hanging in there and concluded, "I got the best f—king fans in the world," before performing a slightly shortened set.

Musicians who injured themselves while performing
Harry Styles hit in the eye by a Skittle mid-concert!
© Getty Images
Harry Styles was not prepared for the sugary projectiles one fan threw at him during his Nov. 14 concert in Los Angeles. A video of the incident shows the singer reeling as he is hit in the eye with a Skittle, but carries on singing his song 'Kiwi' with one eye closed. A member of his backing band later confirmed that Styles is fine. "But do me a favor," he added, "don't throw no more Skittles on stage."
When it comes to performing live, not many musicians seem to agree that less is more. Shows are often filled with countless bizarre props, outlandish special effects, and ambitious choreography that verges on the acrobatic.
It's hardly surprising, then, that artists come unstuck once in a while. Check out this gallery for some of the music industry's more memorable accidents.
