In most cases when we think of used clothing, we think of second-hand stores, hand-me-downs from friends and family, or even a signed jersey. But second-hand clothes don't just have sentimental value: they can be some of the most expensive items around! Depending on who squeezed into it, when they wore it, and what it represented, these items can rack up millions.
Marilyn Monroe famously wore a low-key two-piece dark brown Serge suit with a white fur collar to her January 1954 wedding to Joe DiMaggio. Now, the famous outfit she married the New York Yankees star in is going up for auction through Gotta Have Rock and Roll, and according to TMZ the auction house thinks the bid will be anywhere between US$1.5 and $2 million! Apparently Monroe herself bought the suit from Macy's, and later gifted it to the mother-in-law of her personal photographer Milton Greene.
