Travis Kelce has made it clear that retirement is not on his mind just yet. Speaking at Tight End University in Nashville on June 23, the Kansas City Chiefs star was asked why he decided to return for a 14th NFL season after months of speculation about his future.
Kelce, 36, gave a passionate response, saying simply: "I love this s--t." The veteran tight end signed a new one-year contract with the Chiefs in March after helping build one of the NFL's most successful dynasties. He has spent his entire professional career with Kansas City since being drafted by the team in 2013.
Kelce's appearance came during Tight End University, the annual training summit Kelce co-founded in 2021 with fellow tight ends George Kittle (of the San Francisco 49ers) and Greg Olsen (retired). His fiancée, Taylor Swift, also attended the event for the second consecutive year, on June 22, joining players and guests at a kickoff celebration in Nashville.
