Most of us feel like we work too much and the weekends aren't long enough. But how does your workload fares when compared to folks in other countries? The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) keeps track of data that helps calculate the average annual hours worked in different countries for comparison of trends over time. The OECD defines the average annual hours as the total number of hours actually worked per year divided by the average number of people in employment per year, and excludes time not worked because of public holidays, annual paid leave, own illness, and other reasons.
