World hunger is a major global issue, which is worsening at an unprecedented rate. Over 800 million people suffer from chronic hunger worldwide, and approximately 50 million people across 45 countries are facing emergency levels of hunger.
But global hunger doesn't end when you give people food on a regular basis. Hunger is also related to the distress that comes with the lack of food, including a lack of energy to work. This doesn't end by simply having a meal.
