On the first day of his second term, President Donald Trump wasted no time, issuing extensive executive orders in accordance with his promised agenda and political allies. The executive orders included the pardoning of those involved in the January 6 attempted takeover of the US Capitol, which left five dead and over 170 injured. Trump also repealed many of Joe Biden's orders and took decisive positions regarding international climate agreements and the social media platform TikTok, among other measures, leaving many world leaders concerned over the potential repercussions over the next four years.
