On July 7, Indonesia’s Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki erupted, spewing ash and other volcanic materials as high as 18 kilometers (11 miles) into the air. The eruption has led to several flight cancelations, especially those between Australia and Bali.
The volcano has been reported to be at the highest alert since last month. So far, no casualties have been immediately reported.
