The British Broadcasting Corporation was founded on October 18, 1922 by a group of wireless manufacturers. Daily broadcast of the BBC first started on November 14, 1922 at Marconi's London studio, 2LO. The BBC is the oldest national broadcaster in the world and the largest (by number of employees). Today, it marks its 100th birthday.
