Jon Bon Jovi is back on the stage!
The legendary rock performer, 64, made his triumphant return on July 7, four years after undergoing vocal surgery. He took the stage for the opening night of his Forever Tour, presenting the first in a series of nine consecutive sold-out performances at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Tico Torres and David Bryan, both original members of the band, shared the stage with Bon Jovi, alongside additional musicians Hugh McDonald, John Shanks, Phil X, and Everett Bradley. The group performed for more than two hours with 21 songs, celebrating all their greatest hits.
Bon Jovi greeted the audience with humor, opening the show by performing the classic 1967 Beatles track ‘With a Little Help from My Friends.’ He playfully sang the famous lyric, "What would you do if I sang out of tune...?' a reference to his recent vocal procedure.
In 2022, the singer had surgery to repair a damaged vocal cord and spent over four years in rehabilitation, working extensively with vocal specialists to restore his voice.
