Despite it being the 21st century, out-of-date ideas surrounding what women should be doing, and when, continue to slow them down. Successful women are still being asked why they haven’t settled down or when they’re going to have children instead of being questioned about their creative process or next career move—as if their relationship status is somehow representative of their value.
Emma Watson was one of the celebs to chime in on the topic. Speaking with British Vogue, she shared, "It took me a long time, but I’m very happy [being single]. I call it being self-partnered."
