Pet names -

Fox proved yet again that they call each other the strangest things at the 2022 Daily Front Row Fashion Awards on April 10 where she presented the Stylist Curator Award to Maeve Reilly, her personal stylist. Fox explained that Reilly helped her "to push beyond what I thought I could do and what was possible," and revealed it was her fiancé who introduced them.

"Maeve came to me at a point in my life where I had spent a long time in a winter where I had been in a tight rut," Fox said. "And I had been in a place where either it was time to blossom, or it was time to die. And a lot of that warmth and me opening up had a lot to do with that very tall, handsome, demonic creature right there," she gestured toward Kelly, "who brought Maeve into my life, and Maeve has brought me out of my shell." When was the last time you called your loved one a demonic creature?

The engagement -

After a year and a half of wild romance and wilder headlines, Fox and Kelly got engaged. Fox posted a video of the proposal to her Instagram. Kelly is seen getting down on one knee, reportedly under the same tree where they first fell in love. Photos were also shared of the stunning engagement ring Kelly designed for her, which made headlines by itself. In his first interview since the engagement, Kelly revealed a special feature he added to the ring: "The bands are actually thorns. So if she tries to take it off, it hurts…” Seems about right for a couple who drink each other's blood. “Love is pain!” he added.

Stunting -

In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Machine Gun Kelly revealed how he injured himself trying to impress Megan Fox. The first reckless stunt he pulled was to slide down a stair rail at a house party, but he didn't notice the "giant spike" at the bottom and injured his tailbone. Later in the night, Fox and Kelly returned to his home, where he had received an engraved knife from Travis Barker as a gift. "Check this out. This is sick," he said to Fox, before throwing the knife in the air and attempting to catch it. Instead, it landed blade-side down and pierced his hand! Kelly tried to play it cool but went to get stitches after she left the next morning.

They’re not just soulmates -

During the couple's first joint interview for the podcast 'Give them Lala … With Randall' in July 2021, Fox explained, "I knew right away that he was what I call a twin flame." She continued, "Instead of a soul mate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has ascended into a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time. So we're actually two halves of the same soul, I think."

He loves her feet -

MGK spoke with Teen Vogue about his 'Bloody Valentine' music video, particularly the scene with Fox's feet. "It's no secret. I think feet are beautiful," he said. "And I think Megan has the most beautiful feet that exist."

He really loves them -

During a BuzzFeed clip from August 2020, after reading some flirtatious tweets from fans, MGK had to inform them that he only had eyes for Fox’s toes.

Their first kiss wasn't a kiss -

The singer told British GQ that Fox didn't actually touch his lips during their first kiss. "She wouldn't kiss me," he said. "We just put our lips right in front of each other and breathed each other's breath and then she just left."

They also apparently didn't meet on their first meeting -

A few years before filming 'Midnight in the Switchgrass,' the pair had met at a party but didn't actually register each other. Fox told GQ she only remembered speaking to a "tall, blond, ghostly creature."

Fox further explained, "I think we weren't allowed to see each other yet. We weren't supposed to run into each other that night, so our souls, our spirit guides, were luring us away from each other, because you literally had no face, like that thing from 'Spirited Away.'"

During a May 2021 interview on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show,' MGK said Fox gifted him the drop of blood because she was going to be away filming in Bulgaria. "I mean, some people give a handkerchief to their partner or whatever," he said. "She gave me her DNA."

A connection of "mythic proportions" - In a November 2020 interview with Nylon, Fox described her relationship with Kelly as a connection of "mythic proportions" and added, "Loving him is like being in love with a tsunami or a forest fire. The intensity of merging with him is just overwhelming, and the threat it poses is so powerful but so beautiful that you have no choice to surrender with reverence and with gratitude."

In a November 2020 interview with Dave Franco for Interview magazine, MGK said Fox helped him with his pattern of substance abuse. "The relationship allows me to leave the spaceship and give myself to the cosmos. I have a partner who has the rope and can yank me back to the space station. But I don't want to look at the rope. And I don't want to feel the rope. I want to be like, 'I'm leaving the space shuttle and I'm going ... to Mars.'"

"I think part [of our connection] comes naturally because our relationship is so karmic that our spirit, our souls, are so intertwined on that higher plane," Fox told CR Fashion Book. "A lot of it is handled for us by our ancestors and the spirits and energies that are watching over us."
