Veteran Hollywood actress Kim Novak is to be honored with a Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival. Novak, who first appeared on cinema screens in 1953, is best known for films such as
'Phffft' (1954), 'Picnic' (1955), 'The Man with the Golden Arm' (1955), and 'Vertigo' (1958). At 93 years old,
Novak is one of the very few actresses from Hollywood's 1950s golden age who are still alive.
