Mouse paste, leech therapy, tobacco smoke enema... the history of medicine has recorded some utterly weird and truly bizarre remedies to all sorts of bodily ailments and physical conditions. Most were quirky quack cures, disgusting perhaps, and for the most part totally unnecessary.
