Have you heard of El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO)? El Niño for short, it's the climate phenomenon that creates unusual warmth in the eastern tropical Pacific Ocean. It greatly impacts ocean temperatures, as well as the speed and strength of ocean currents, among other ocean life and weather patterns. The El Niño phenomenon occurs at intervals of between two and seven years, but it’s highly unpredictable.
