Navigating a road can tell you more about a country or territory than any postcard or travel brochure ever could. Roads are the physical veins of a nation, carrying people from one place to another and enabling the movement of goods that keep economies alive.
The World Bank and the World Economic Forum have generated a list that rates the road infrastructure of 144 countries and territories across the globe. The Quality of Road Infrastructure (QRI) score is compared to an international standard to see where ranks best and worst.
So, which countries and territories made the top (and bottom) of the list? Click on to find out.
